How to Download Videos with Internet Explorer

These instructions are for use with Internet Explorer as your browser. You will first need to locate and play the entire file in your browser so that it all caches into your temporary memory. Now to find the file in your browser's history:

1. Click on "Tools" Menu
2. Select "Internet Options" then click the "General" tab.
3. Select "Settings" under "Browser History" and click on it.
4. Select "View Files"
5. Look for the file "Flash" under 'Name"
6. Right click on the file you want to save "Flash"
7. Click COPY... (Do not close your IE Browser)
8. Go back to your desktop (or folder where you keep your video files) and right click in an empty area, and paste the file to your desktop. Right click on the name of flash file and RENAME the file, giving the proper name and end the name with a .FLV extension (example: video.flv).

Most people don't need anything more than a Web browser and a Macromedia plug-in to watch Flash videos. However, if you want a bit more control over your viewing, this open-source FREEWARE program will do the trick. This player is for Windows users only. You can download it from Download.com

For Mac and PC users alike, there's also Wimpy Desktop FLV Player(FREEWARE)
